First drop of LNG in 2026 seems to be on track. Looking really good for Genting. It mentioned 40% completion and currently laying the keel block. Typical project timeline is 24 months to 30 months. This project started in Jun'24 and 24 months to 30 months means expecting first drop of LNG in 2nd half of 2026 :)

O&G segment contribution in the future will depend on the natural gas price. Currently at the bottom. profit taking is normal, Vin. You would have noticed the change of sentiments from the commentaries. I offloaded GenM per plan and prepare the funds to add Genting. Just waiting for q4'24 to be released and will add Genting - after qr and in Apr. The O&G segment typically contributed approx 500M ebitda per year and pbt approx 400M. With the capacity of the LNG facility and the approved contract (230mmscfd per day for 18 years), you may get another 500M additional revenue per year based on USD$2/MMBtu and 75% utilization of its capacity. Just a rough estimate and could be wrong.

Just had a look at it, Vin. Its a positive surprise and I would say GenS has priced in the impact of RWS2.0 disruption. (1) Page 1 and Page 12 speaks a lot about the performance given the fact that Hard Rock Hotel was taken down for renovation starting Mar'24. Full year topline revenue growth of 5% and bottom line net profit shrunk by 5%. Cost of sales up by 10%. Within first half of 2024 and second half of 2024, non gaming registered 8% growth while gaming was lower by 22%. Full yoy comparison of gaming and non gaming showing single digit growth while adjusted ebitda shrunk by 6%. Overall is still a surprising strong performance for both gaming and non-gaming. Cash from the ops looks good (almost doubled the dividend payout amount) and capex was higher compared to 2023. (2) 2023 total tourists entering Singapore was 13.60M, avg 1.13M per month with avg length of stay at 3.79 days. 2024 total tourists entering Singapore was 16.53M, avg 1.38M per month with avg length of stay at 3.56. Tourist count wise registered a 21.5% growth while GenS full year performance at single digit despite higher cost, lower rooms capacity and disruptions from RWS2.0 upgrade. (3) Fast forward to 2025, Jan'25 recorded 1.63M tourists and its a strong number if you compare to the average in 2023 and 2024, and its the highest single month recorded comparing to 2023 and 2024. Page 14 is equally interesting - RWS1.5. AI for efficiencies and personalised experience, Forum for retail and dining started in Dec'24 and will open progressively in 2025, super luxury all-suite hotel and the Singapore Oceanarium in Q3 2025. And Q3 is obviously not picking from sky as if you look at the past two years tourism data, Jul and Aug tends to have the highest count of tourists entering Singapore in 2023 and 2024 :) From luxury all suite hotel to super luxury all suite hotel. There is reason to be optimistic given the strong monthly Jan'25 tourist count numbers. Just a short opinions, could be wrong. Hope it helps.

Castro’s gaming and hospitality resume includes leadership roles with Hilton Hotels Corp., Caesars Entertainment and MGM Resorts International, including serving as senior vice president and CFO at Aria for more than five years, Resorts World said in a news release.

In his new role, Castro will “lead the resort’s financial strategy, operational execution, and long-term growth initiatives, ensuring continued success as a premier hospitality and entertainment destination on the Las Vegas Strip,” the release stated. His tenure with the North Strip property began earlier this week.

I am not concerned with the net profit figure as shared previously, Vin. If there is any expectation, it will be close to 2bil ebitda, and net cash from ops going up to 7bil from 5.3bil in q3. And maybe a 10 cents dividend; up from 9 cents.

its a healthy retracement, Vin. Not to be concerned at the moment as GenS results has shown that it is more resilient than we thought. GenM MY segment is depending on domestic tourism/spending during holiday/festive seasons which is pretty stable. Gent US segment good results in 2023 was mainly driven by RWLV which has set a high bar; a good challenge for the new BODs as they get their hands on the deck.

The next event will be by end of Apr, Vin. It was reported in the UK media previously that possible HMTM decision by Apr. UK MHRA typically meets on the last week of Thurs and Fri each month. In this case will be on the 24th and 25th of Apr. Will be a restless week for you again :)

Lol, Vin. Not a problem with reject as its an open secret that Genting has invested in a few life sciences and biotechnology companies - call it part of sustainability if you will. However, its a totally different story if it is approved :) Significant upside for Genting. The US, Europe and other markets marketing authorization submission will follow suit if UK is approved. First thing first - if it is approved by UK MHRA, TauRx will have to get the products into the UK market within 3 years.

Dont go out there and stay in Genting first; dividend, growth plans and no impact to min wage, tariffs, supply chain. Beneficiary of lower interest especially in the US and will probably see further interest cut only in second half 2025.

You survived the Aug'24 RWLV complaints + Hard Rock Hotel rooms capacity taken down for renovation period, Vin. This is nothing compared to the few months period. Btw, did you manage to get some tickets during the Dec'24 or Jan'25 period? If yes, you dont need to do anything now until post QR results and in Apr. Well, depending on your own liquidity.

You are welcome, Vin. I am waiting for RWLV complaints closure status. The worst fear that started back in Aug'24 was license being revoked and coupled with RWS2.0 short term disruptions. That sent the share price spiralling down and created opportunities for low price entries :) What we may see in the future QR depends on the conclusion. Scenario #1: If license revoked, US segment kaput. This is unlikely given the independent oversight being put in place. Scenario#2: If it is just monetary fines, the recognition of the monetary fines and journal entry comes into play. The fines will be captured as part of expense and the impact is accounting profit goes down, liabilities may temporarily increase until full settlement with cash. Cash will go down and liabilities will reduce again upon settlement. Scenario #2: May provide an opportunity to add given the reaction on accounting profit/loss :)
