congrats to all. imo - let's wait for it's final quarter report / annual report and see whether it's i-medic platform is winning new market share or customer base remains the same.
I am not sure and may the best company wins the contract for the betterment of the healthcare industry. imo - lesson learned from bestari net and vle frog systems implementation for schools should be reviewed by the ministry of health. infrastructure readiness, systems capability, long term visions plays an important factor.
imo - an integrated system capable of providing visibility of prescription medications, safe guarding personal medical records, ease of retrieving medical records at the back of strong connectivity infrastructure. it helps the efficiency of ministry of health performing audits on prescriptions drugs transactions, and insurance companies extracting records to speed up the claims/investigations goes a long way. just my opinion.
private hospitals adopting well established emr system. health IT (HIT) is a competitive business with many global players looking for opportunity. additionally, it is a business with high switching costs - once adopted, difficult to change as it will disrupt the workflow and it's huge database. Msia has been talking about this for years and hopefully it will materialize now for public hospitals. hopefully our gov will support local established home grown application. make Msia great again :)
