as CL Cheong said, high risk, high gain. But based on my own opinion, AA is the only listed Malaysia based Airline, if AA collapse, Malaysia government lose face.. Considering this factor, I assume government will support AA until vaccine arrived, boarder open back, etc.. but this is only my own opinion hence invest with risk in mind
Yenni Huang, yes you are right as well. Again, back to “high risk, high gain”. I do believe somehow AA will survive, and people aware that AA might bankrupt, but still, the potential is there. Anything is possible. Invest with your own judgement. Do not take risk if its not in your comfort zone.
@yenni u can say MH and AA is totally 2 different management. MH is been losing money yearly despite gov pump money's yearly and the current pandemic only make it worst. on a side note, AA is been making positive progress but only got hit the hardest during last year pandemic. but at least now it's company is moving into many new venture to get more diversified income. I can say overall AA is doing his best to sail through this hardest time compare MH la.
Why don u think like this, inter country traveling still the plane. Now sure not good, just in matter of time to recover. If air asia died, country economy will Habis. Tourism play an important role in economy. Its fact. Some more Tony keep changing in order to survive. His fortune from AA. If u a him, will u let AA died? Traveling will be slowly return. Be patient for it! AA died, Malaysia tourism company died and many many will died slowly.
