Sasbadi, Pelangi bag Education Ministry jobs
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Sasbadi said its contract worth RM746,460 was for the supply of Year 4 arts education textbooks at Chinese national primary schools throughout Malaysia for the duration of March 5, 2019 to March 4, 2022.
PETALING JAYA: Publishing companies Sasbadi Holdings Bhd 
and Pelangi Publishing Group Bhd have bagged jobs from the Education Ministry to publish and supply textbooks in contracts worth RM1.8mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Sasbadi said its contract worth RM746,460 was for the supply of Year 4 arts education textbooks at Chinese national primary schools throughout Malaysia for the duration of March 5, 2019 to March 4, 2022.
The publishing company is expected to deliver the first tranche of the contract worth RM677,650 in the first and second quarters of the financial year ending Aug 31, 2020 (FY20) and onwards. As such, Sasbadi noted that the contract would not contribute to the earnings of the group for FY19. On the other hand, Pelangi’s contract worth RM1.05mil was for the supply of Year 4 Maths textbooks at Chinese national primary schools for a period of three years.
