KUALA LUMPUR (June 4): Yong Tai Bhd’s auditors Messrs Ecovis Malaysia PLT have resigned voluntarily effective today, as the group looks to appoint another auditor, said the company in a bourse filing.

“Ecovis who had been the Auditors of the company were re-appointed at the last annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held on November 22, 2018 to hold office until the conclusion of the next AGM of the company. The resignation is on a voluntary basis, as the company wishes to appoint another auditors,” the group said.

The group would appoint new auditors in due course, the filing added.

The counter closed unchanged to 33 sen, with 322,100 shares traded, giving it a market capitalisation of RM176.29 million.
