1. Brent Oil went up again and nearing USD120. Now USD 118. The higher oil price, Hibiscs daily crude oil production sale will increase eventhough their production rate remains the same.
2. Currency Exchange. US dollar grow weaker comparing to MYR. But this will do little offset to hibiscs earning.
3. Total Short selling. IDSS made more than MYR4mil. while PDT only short around MYR1mil. no of short seller is 50.

in reserve 100 barrels...total revenue= 8000 USD
example 2 oil price 130 USD per barrel

Somebody is managing the situation. There are several attempts to short and short sellers hoping others will follow which if we did, this will drive Hibiscs down further. But their moves move were stopped short. Everytime someone shorts, there will bidders place their orders That stops them. No big moves yet until now. I am sure someone will make his moves soon. Look at yesterday chart. Set your timeframe to 5 minutes. You will get what I mean.

Barry, the oil price many ppl looking at is actually crude oil futures for June contract. That price doesn't reflect Hibiscs earning today bcos earning today based on actual crude oil price at spot and basket price by EIA and OPEC.

Hibiscs already anticipate this and put it in their recent quarterly report where they forecast there will be 2 scenarios. 1. When market is bullish. 2. When market is bearish.
On two scenarios, Hibiscs forecasts that oil price will be cheaper from May onwards. But they didn't expect Russia bulldozed Ukraine..

On Wednesday, the administration got an additional assist from the International Energy Agency, which announced its members planned to release 60 million additional barrels from their oil reserves, marking the largest release in IEA history.

But the administration’s critics have argued the decline in prices are unlikely to be sustained, and don’t change the supply and demand dynamics, unless the government commits to long-term investments in fossil fuels.

Bought some more at 1.20 today. Based on today's IEA final release emergency oil reserve 250mil bbl total until the end of this year, estimated crude oil cap at USD 100bbl unless pressure relief valve pops then it will jump USD120 instant.

Crude oil price hike is not our doing. But we welcome US intervention in Russia-Ukraine conflicts as this introduce us new CIPS, alternatives to US dollar e.g. Remnibi, Dipolar World power.

Hibiscs's aim not only to increase 8,000bpd to 24,000bpd, they are working on increasing their production capacity to 50,000bpd.
3QFY22 is coming out soon. Window to own Hibiscs share is closing. I will add some to my portfolio in days to come.
