Over the past decade, BTM ROE was even lower than that for Eksons which ceased its plywood business in Jan 2023. Refer to https://www.i4value.asia/2023/10/eksons-is-now-value-trap-oct-2023.html#more.
From a fundamental investor perspective, it is better to spend time hunting elsewhere.
