no, you will not get it :) it's always T+2 which means it takes 2 days for clearing and the record is updated in the company's database. you have to buy it before the ex-date.
You will get the dividend if you sell it today as it takes the same amount of time for clearing (T+2). After all, the opening price has been adjusted to minus out the dividend amount. I dont see any rationale of selling on the ex-date just to get the dividend unless you are anticipating that it will spike down on the ex-date or in the following days.
