The problem is, Donald Dump is someone that has no interest in developing the renewable energy sector. He will cut off the subsidies to EV/Solar manufacturers.
With lesser subsidy, the industry will consolidate and eventually the strongest will survive. Their largest customer, first solar is nowhere near the Chinese peers and it relies heavily on the subsidies + friendly policies towards renewable energy. There's a structural change here.
