This tariff increased if persist will lead to slow economy but with soon deflation which will mitigate the high living cost of Malaysian, good news to general Malaysians in one sense albeit a slow economy. US on the other hand is worse as it's facing slow economy n super high inflation (Stagflation) as it's tariff is war against the whole world, if prolong, it will be another great depression for them after 100 years, good luck to them. Haha
