With Trump imposing another 50% tariff on China, wouldn't this be a net positive for Malaysian OSAT players such as Inari? After all, the US chips will need someone to package. So, Malaysian OSAT players can process China-bound chips, and they can process US-bound chips. So, Malaysia should be the go-to OSAT provider for all the feuding parties. It shouldn't be so bad. After all, Malaysian OSAT stocks have already been punished enough. The 50% additional tariff on China should be a net positive.
