To those who scolded me last time when I revealed the cold hard truth about ecommerce game, I hope you guys already cut as early as possible.
Ecommerce marketplace is not a simple game that you just setup and think it will fly. The very fundamental requirement is having Deep Pocket. Yes, and by deep pocket, I’m mean 500mil in cash, in USD. And that is just the beginning.
I’ve seen LAMBOs QR and monthly users/basket size, and it’s very weak. And it shows sign of fatigue, which eventually will lead platform becoming cold. The worse part of their platform is that they insist on selling authentic, good quality items. This alone showed that they have no idea about marketplace at all, data shows majority of Malaysians buy online because cheap, nothing else. If they want authentic or good quality, they go direct to brand.
Well, just another of my sharing.
And I’m not saying LAMBO is done just yet.
But they are indeed going into that direction if they don’t change, and get substantial funds in soon.
