With trade war going on China will definitely come to Asean to mitigate the lost of sales in western and Australia market. By that time Proton CEO concerns will become reality and China Cars will reshape our auto industry. Hope Bermaz can withstand this wave if not.....haizzz
If they bring sub 100k and entry level cars, proton and perodua will be badly affected. Chery Tiggo 4 and Omoda C3 already in the pipeline. Direct competition to Ativa, Aruz, WRV and x50
thats y. initially when chinese car came in its seem like Bermaz the only one seriously impacted but now even proton has started making noise. Very soon perodua will be impacted when sub 100k chinese cars coming in
Bermaz simply can't fail as now EPF is the 2nd largest share holder with 14 percent shares. This 14 percent belongs to all the EPF contributors. Bermaz already make all the contributors lost more than 50 percents of its value. If dividend also gone then the contributors really lost their saving
Looks like Bermaz really need to continue pushing Mazda cars. Launch sales for new models ASAP. Kia and Xpeng really can't make any positive impact in malaysia
Chery launched another c segment killer. Jetour only 117k for top specs. Mazda and others brace for impact la. Chinese car really create tsunami in malaysia car market
Bermaz problems is not due to US tariffs but it's own. While others brand has been aggressively launching new models and offerings incentives to fight for sales, bermaz is still working at snail pace in countering the shrinking sales.
