Apple contributed to about 20% of Broadcom's revenue. Little peanut?
Let me take away 20% of your salary see if you're ok with it.
I don't think Apple will manufacture their own RF chip, but please don't simply comment without facts and figure.
Apple, and particularly the iPhone, is a key source of revenue for chipmakers. In early 2020, Apple and Broadcom reached a $15 billion supply agreement for wireless components that ends in 2023. Apple accounts for about 20% of Broadcom’s sales, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
U also mangkok cendol, u think broadcom depending solely on Apple? broadcom business is huge, they not only produce RF chips, by the way, if apple want to build its own RF chips, there is a big investment cost. The news is bullshit and is the scared investor
I already mentioned that I don't think Apple will manufacture the chips on their own. Please read properly and use your eyes and brain together. Broadcom is very big no doubt, but 20% revenue is definitely not little peanut like what you said. The news is bullshit does not mean you should simply say something without facts and figures to back your opinion. Grow up and be a matured investor.
I still remember clearly not so long ago, Macbook had to rely on intel chips... bcoz ARM is no way to compete x86. big investment cost? do apple even care? 3T company, even they knew they will failed, pour few billions try try they dont even feel peanut. Plus design RF chips, and not manufacturing, is within apple capability, provided i assume the patent barrier is not that huge, i think.
