In the annual report , the demand of cocoa product is surging as well , no doubt there is a supply disruption due to bad weather.

Despite the rise in cocoa prices , it clearly shows the demand is still there , customer is buying in regardless of high price.

This is the first time GCB is making 1.8b per quarter which is a historical high on top of the they are still in a profit business.

When cocoa price start to stabilize , GCB profit market will normalize and would show a higher net profit.

Low profit now because company invest a lot in new grinding plant . The business is growing , expenditure cost is high , and despite rising in cost of material they still can stay profit consider very good.

The cocoa prices now volatile only , the prices wont stay high for long. Eventually it will normalize back.

It’s the same principle as a vendor selling chicken rice , when chicken goes up , a plate of chicken rice increase rm 1 . But when the chicken price goes down , a plate of chicken rice still remained the same price. Eventually the vendor will make the profit.
