I used to own this share & enjoying its dividend for a good few years. Then I noticed the Rasau project was progressing extremely slow. I know their dividend payment is not sustainable.

Every quarter when I go thru their financial report, I can see their cash dwindling.

Sold all above 80 sen more than 2 years ago.

This CFO issue is a very good thing to happen.
Bcoz it only involves non-compliance issue. Not FRAUD or CBT.

It also serves a very good wake up call to the top management not to take things for granted.

Now that they can alter or fine-tune their internal guidelines/SOP/method to have better check&balance to avoid bigger scandal in the future.

By convention, MBB normally don’t give dividend from Q3, unless they want to help to circumvent the 2% dividend tax.

If that happen, it would be interesting to see how market react.

Johnson, read my posting carefully. I said this QR3 result will give some hint on the final dividend. I didn’t say this QR will give dividend.

I have been taking dividend from Tiger for 5 years now. Every year 6 digits, except for the first year.
So, I do roughly know when Tiger will give angpow

In a few more days, QR3 will be out. Good result will give some hint on final dividend and also a boost to share price

I still haven’t got the actual answer. The 2% tax is inclusive of the first 100K or exclude the first 100K ?

Example 110K, only tax the 10K = RM200 only

REIT Income Distribution is different from Single Tier Dividend. So to compare REIT 10% to double taxation on Single Tier Dividend is wrong.
